This Privacy Policy explains how Launchglot (https://launchglot.com) collects, uses and protects your information. Launchglot is operated by Zhou Zhengchao, an individual based in Guangxi, China ("we", "us"), who is responsible for your data.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
• Your content: app strings, store listings and other text you upload, and the translations the Service produces.
• Usage data: characters used, languages chosen, plan and quota status, and basic technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting.
• Billing information: payments are handled by Creem, our Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your full card details. Creem shares with us your subscription status, plan, and limited details such as your name, email and country.

2. How We Use It

• To provide the Service: run translations, track quota and manage your account.
• To process subscriptions and purchases through Creem.
• To send service emails, such as account verification, password resets, receipts and important notices.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
• To improve the Service using aggregated usage statistics.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.

3. Service Providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service:

Your content is sent to AI providers only to produce your translations. We choose routing options that do not permit providers to train on your data where such options are available.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the Service.

4. International Transfers

We are based in China and our providers run servers in the United States and other countries. Your data may be processed outside your country. We rely on providers' standard safeguards to protect it.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• We keep your data while your account is active.
• You can delete your account at any time in your settings, or by emailing us. We delete your account data and content within 30 days of deletion.
• Some records, such as transaction records, may be kept longer where the law requires it. Creem keeps its own billing records under its privacy policy.
• Backups are deleted on their normal rotation.

6. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach where the law requires it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, the California CCPA, or China's PIPL), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict some processing. To use these rights, email support@launchglot.com. We will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies, such as login session cookies, to keep you signed in and secure the Service. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and notify you by email of important changes.
